Environmental Therapy Offering

We shape our buildings; thereafter they shape us. —Winston Churchill

Every environment we spend time in has the opportunity to either enliven or dull us. I believe all spaces—especially our home habitats—should help bring us more alive. By more alive I mean more free to create, more calm, more energized, more present, more mentally spacious, more grounded, more generous in spirit, more inspired to seek the good, more reflective in our daily life of a rich, centered, inner and outer life. In working together to mindfully alter and improve various elements of your environment, your most important living spaces can help spark the everyday, incremental changes you desire.

Working together

Sessions can look a variety of different ways, but in many cases, they will involve:

  • Observing your space together; thinking about what works well and what might be missing.

  • Exploring how your living spaces are encouraging you, and/or dragging you down. Finding key ways to expand on the positive elements and diminish the negative ones.

  • Brainstorming/dreaming/imagining together what you want your environment to do and be for you.

  • Working together to articulate your own personal vision and style for your space(s).

  • Identifying specific changes and improvements that can be made, and how.

  • Looking at possibilities for sourcing, and taking tangible movements towards finding the right pieces for your home.

  • Step-by-step styling assistance, figuring out the best placements for flow, livability, beauty, and function.

Above all, I aim to be a trusted advocate, inspiring and drawing you towards your most curious, creative, innovative self, and helping translate your unique character into your surrounding environment.

Most sessions at this time are virtual, although select packages include in-person sourcing and styling.

I offer many different options for working together, in addition to customizable packages designed towards your specific needs. If you’d like to explore working together, please reach out at: juliepointer (at) gmail.com
